Team Development and Awaydays with the CLMD at Salomons

If you require team building and development, our in-house Centre for Leadership and Management Development (CLMD) can tailor an event to suit your particular objectives. They will work with you to analyse your teams’ needs and then design a programme to deliver your objectives with an emphasis on sustainable, long-term learning.

For events with an emphasis on fun, to celebrate success perhaps, we can employ one of our recommended activity partners dependent on your choice of activities. In the first instance, please contact the Reservations office who will be happy to assist you and put you in direct contact with the appropriate supplier. Prices are determined by the number of delegates and choice of activities.

Fun Activities for Teams

Our recommended activity partners can supply a number of fun events for teams including:

• Archery
• Clay Pigeon shooting
• Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting
• Challenge Zone: A variety of mental and light physical tasks are put to the group who have to work together as a team to solve the challenges
• Geese Herding with Sheep Dogs: Try your hand at communicating with sheep dogs to herd geese through a course. The dogs are trained to respond to a variety of different languages and whistles
• Falconry: A chance to fly a selection of birds of prey
• Photo Challenge: Teams are issued with a camera and tasked with taking a range of seemingly impossible photos – only teamwork and lateral thinking will lead to success
• Inflatables: Beach Volleyball, Bungee Running, Human Table Football, Olympic Assault Course
• Family Fun Days and MAD Days (Multi-activity days)
• The Adventure Rope Course

As well as the splendid Dining Room and fully licensed bars, Salomons offers a choice of delightful rooms for private functions catering from 20 - 200 guests. Indeed the elegant Gold Room and Conservatory with stunning views over the lake and grounds are ideal venues for serving conference refreshments.

As a highlight on which to end your team building event or conference Salomons is delighted to host a special themed finale for you and your delegates. Suggestions are varied and include a Chinese evening, curry night, BBQ supper, casino evening or cabaret night and can be tailored to meet your specific requirements.
